About
Technical depth, an entrepreneurial view.
I'm Lukas Diedenhofen. I help companies use AI and digitalization in a way that truly pays off — pragmatic, honest and at eye level.
Who I am
I sit at the intersection of technology and business: deep enough in the technical detail to build things that actually work, and entrepreneurial enough to keep the result focused on what moves your company forward.
I've worked with AI for more than eight years — back from a time when it had little to do with today's language models. That depth helps me tell real value from hype. Since people kept asking me for support anyway, I now offer my knowledge officially.
Background
Certified IT systems management clerk. A solid commercial-technical foundation (German “IT-Systemkaufmann” apprenticeship).
B.Eng. Computer Engineering and Communications. With a focus on cyber security.
M.Eng. Computer Aided Engineering. With a focus on artificial intelligence and cyber security.
8+ years of hands-on AI. From classical methods to today's models — experience that grew over time, not read up overnight.
2 years in information security consulting. Security and GDPR as a learned craft, not an add-on.
How I work
Pragmatic. First understand what's really needed, then implement and measure. No activism, no hype.
Honest. Clear recommendations, including when the answer is 'not worth it'. A reliable partner, not a vendor.
Data protection first. Security and GDPR compliance are part of every decision, not an afterthought.
Enablement. I want your team to be able to do it without me — so knowledge stays in the company.
Away from work
Away from work you'll usually find me in the mountains. I run and stay active — most recently an ultra trail of 74.5 km with 3,200 m of elevation gain — enjoy time with friends and love travelling the world.
Let's get to know each other.
A short, no-obligation conversation is the best way to see whether we're a fit.
